Introduction![edit]

Hi Anne,

My name is Marisa Jones and I am currently a senior at the University of Washington studying communications and pursuing a sales certificate from the Foster School of Business. I wanted to reach out and introduce myself as we are both in COM 482 this quarter. I hope everything is well with you during this crazy time and I am excited to take this quarter together!

All the best, Marisa Jones — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marisajones (talkcontribs) 19:32, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COM 482 Introduction[edit]

Hi Anne, my name is Megan Clay and I'm currently a senior at UW majoring in Communications and minoring in Informatics. I wanted to introduce myself as we have a friend in common and she talks about you a lot (you might know her as Kira) Just wanted to say hello and wish you the best quarter! Welcome![edit]

Greetings Seeley32 and welcome (again!) to both Wikipedia and to COM482! I think Pinky (dolphin) is a super fun choice for an article. I see you've started that and added a little text. Look at the talk page of the article (Talk:Pinky (dolphin)) for related WikiProjects although I'm honestly not really sure what articles are similar (it seems like a pretty unique and awesome thing!). In any case, the references you found seem fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing things developed. Good luck! —mako 19:38, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on your draft[edit]

Greetings Seeley32! I've made a pass on User:Seeley32/Pinky (dolphin) and made a bunch of changes. I think the additions, although modest, are good. I don't see any problem with making them live.

A few quick pieces of feedback:

  • The first sentence in the lede needs a citation, I think. Can you find one?
  • The final sentence in the new coloring section isn't about coloring. Maybe move this somewhere else?
  • I noticed that both the references from Pinky (dolphin) (the live version) have been removed. Was this intentional or just an issue with the way you failed to move things over to your sandbox.

Although the additions are not huge, I don't see any problem with what you've added. Why don't you go ahead and start moving things over to live version. If you want to make more changes to the article, you just doing it in the live version. Good luck and thanks for your work on the article! —mako 19:46, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
