Copyright problem on Jack O'Dell
[edit]The text you added to the above article include passages that were copied directly from your sources. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. For copyright reasons, some of your contribution had to be removed, and I paraphrased some. Remember that additions to Wikipedia need to be written entirely in your own words. Please review the Plagiarism and Copyright training module before making additional edits. Thanks. — Diannaa (talk) 13:20, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Sharkbait27 and Public-historian-90, Remember the goal is to summarize in your own words the information from the reliable sources you find. Check out the message above from User:Diannaa and the training module before making additional edits. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. - Thank you Brianda. Is the article ok now since Dianna removed and paraphrased some. Or do we still have to fix it? Sharkbait27 (talk) 18:05, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Sharkbait27 Diannaa removed all the plagiarised content, so the article is ok. As you work on your contribution, be very mindful that you're aren't closely paraphrasing the sources. If you want me to look over your edits before you add them to the mainspace, just let me know. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:33, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
