This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/University_of_Pennsylvania/Introduction_to_Linguistics_-_LPS_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |

Speedy deletion nomination of Phillips Foster Greene
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Phillips Foster Greene requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. KDS4444Talk 09:13, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- How do you expect an article totally devoid of references to survive in mainspace? Please reply. I have rescued the article to User:Sharonrose96/sandbox. Do not even think about moving it again until is properly referenced. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:49, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Sharonrose:, I did not see that RHaworth had already rescued this page once. You now have to copies of this page: User:Sharonrose96/sandbox created at 05:39, 12 November 2015 and User:Sharonrose96/Phillips Foster Greene created at 15:00, 13 November 2015. I recommend you pick the one you like and replace the content of the other with {{db-author}}. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 06:44, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
Since Phillips Foster Greene will become a "redlink" as soon as the leftover redirect is deleted, I wanted you to see this list of other wikipedia pages that link to it:

- I have requested that the leftover redirects at Phillips Foster Greene and Phillips Foster Greene/sandbox be deleted. This does not affect your writing, it still exists at User:Sharonrose96/sandbox. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 06:39, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

delayed "userspace draft" template
[edit]I apologize for not putting {{userspace draft}} on the page that is now at User:Sharonrose96/sandbox back in November when I first moved it from the main encyclopedia to your "user" space. I have corrected the oversight. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:26, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
Hey!
[edit]Hey! I'm Irene, a senior at Penn. It seems like you're in the LING001 night class with me. I wasn't able to make it to the first class but just wanted to introduce myself. Have a great weekend and see you next Tuesday! Lingip001 (talk) 16:30, 2 September 2017 (UTC)

Just thought that since it was a Russia related article, a Russian dish would be more appropriate than the typical food & drink WikiLove fare. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:16, 8 September 2017 (UTC) |
