Welcome!

Hello Shiplaker, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Dcooper 17:02, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

zzuuzz is the vandal here, Shiplake College has been basically unchanged for the last 3 years until this rogue admin has been mucking around with it, please unblock me and remove his admin priv.

Decline reason:

You were breaking our rules against edit-warring to keep User:Zzuuzz from correcting a violation of the neutral point of view policy. Your request doesn't indicate that you understand either of those rules, or that you have a plan to stop breaking them in the future, so unblocking you would not be appropriate- you'd just have to be blocked again immediately when you broke the rules again. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

please find the attached web archive to prove that I am right and that zzuuzz is the vandal here http://web.archive.org/web/20060616080508/http://www.shiplake.org.uk/

Decline reason:

The fact that it has been unchanged for a long time is irrelevant, the content you were restoring was POV and promotional, regardless of how long its been there Jac16888Talk 13:24, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
