RE: I Don't understand

[edit]

(a) You added content to Outline of Albania, which is an outline article finely tuned for consistency with hundreds of other Outline of ... articles. Your content about famous Albanians was totally inappropriate given the general structure and purpose of a country outline article.

(b) I (and other editors) have been reverting your additions to the list of Famous Albanians in main article Albania because we were uncertain to what extent these people were Albanians. Our concerns were clearly expressed in our edit comments. However, contrary to standard Wiki practice, you simply ignored all our edit comments and continued to revert and re-insert the same names. This is a moot point now, as the whole section "Famous Albanians" has been deleted from the article as inappropriate. Please do not attempt to reinsert it without first discussing your views on the Albania talk page and securing consensus -- again standard Wiki practice.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:41, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
