Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jackaustin1987, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

The Response

[edit]

Sorry to see that you feel discouraged. Wikipedia is for everyone to edit, and you can contribute without having any problem in Wikipedia. But what you're doing in Wikipedia doesn't seem like a contribution to me especially your actions in AFC. You said that you're a new user and It needs a bit of experience to review AFC tasks, it's better for you to learn the basics of Wikipedia before doing such things. I hope you got what I'm saying about. And for your information, closely connected users may be considered a single user for Wikipedia's purposes if they edit with the same objectives(read WP:SOCK). So, make sure that you run into trouble for this. Happy editing. AbhiMukh97(Speak)(Contribs) 07:28, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
