June 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to NoCap. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:38, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I Wasn’t trying to use misleading information. All I was trying to do was add an image to NoCap’s article & Wikipedia wouldn’t let me because it said I didn’t have permission to do that. Sorry for any confusion & Wikipedia please don’t try to put a negative reputation on me nor try to take away any of my editing opportunities or take my page down. Siris555 (talk) 05:06, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You added a link to soundcloud with the edit summary "I added a image of NoCap". I don't see how that's not at least inaccurate. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 05:38, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So here's the thing, the picture I was trying to add was apparently from NoCap's SoundCloud profile. See the thing is I should've copied the photo on my phone and then pasted the photo to his Wikipedia article. Look bro, I'm new to editing Wikipedia articles, I have a lot of learning to do. I don't have much experience like you who've edited over thousands of Wikipedia articles, but it would feel great if someone could help mentor me & give me tips and advice on how to become a better Wikipedia editor! Siris555 (talk) 06:06, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd suggest reading Help:Introduction. And just between you me and the lamppost, an image from social media is unlikely to be suitable for Wikipedia. We can only use copyrighted files when there is absolutely no alternative. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:26, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Squared.Circle.Boxing. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, JiDion, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – 2.O.Boxing 06:52, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]
