Hi regarding your query about Newport County, to edit kits there is a webpage (see link Template:Football_kit/pattern_list) that has many different kit types. On a normal kit it has something like the following:

the 1 at the end refers to the home kit, 2 the away kit and if there were alternative more kits 3 and 4 etc could be used

pattern_la refers to the left hand sleeve of the kit which you can view options in the link provided above. pattern_b refers to the torso check area. This is where you could apply stripes or halves or a collar or sides etc, again in the link provided. pattern_ra refers to the right sleeve of the kit, which is much the same as the right pattern_sh refers to the shorts pattern_so refers to the socks

All of the above require an underscore sign _ before the terminology as you can see in the link

The reference under leftarm or body or socks etc with the 6 digit code refers to the web colour. As this is an American term its web color. There is a wikipedia page for web color's but it is quite basic. You're better off searching for this in google i.e light blue web color and then using the results to identify a 6 digit code.

The only other things to note is there must be an = sign between the term and the relevant code, and you must use a | sign between each code (you can see this being used above). If you were not to do this the coding would be looking at all of the data at once and wouldn't be able to identify any of it.
