Zanimum (talk) 02:47, 30 April 2020 (UTC)- Zanimum, Thank you for accepting my article and giving it a B. Some information was deleted from the article and now a bot deletes it every time I try to revert it to the original version. The new version asks for citations needed but the previous version cited the sources. Is there a way to resolve this? Skipbreen (talk) 12:48, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

Question, answer required
[edit]I am asking the following in my capacity as an administrator: are you being paid in any way for creating and editing Birdman Bats? Do not edit further until you have replied to this message. creffett (talk) 22:42, 11 June 2020 (UTC) No I am not being paid to write this article. Skipbreen (talk) 22:42, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- That is straight-up untrue, and very easy to disprove with a few seconds of Google searching. Yunshui 雲水 14:27, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was trying to add encyclopedic information regarding Birdman Bats. I am not being paid to write their wikipedia page. I manage their social media. I was not trying to vandalize Birdman Bats or Gary Malec wikipedia pages. When I requested the page be accepted, it was accepted within 45 minutes. Can Birdman Bats become published again?
Decline reason:
If you manage the company's social media, that is basically the definition of paid editing (even if you're doing it as an intern or volunteer). Nobody's accusing you of vandalizing, but we are accusing you of something much more serious: undisclosed paid editing, a breach of the Wikipedia Terms of Use. I will also note that you have, on multiple occasions, removed every notice on this page that suggested that you were engaging in problematic editing. Declined. creffett (talk) 02:53, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

What if someone wrote the page but they did not work for the company? Would that be okay? I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID!

Request reason:
I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID! That was an actual page that is in draft again. Can it come back please?
Decline reason:
Sorry, no. You wrote, " I manage their social media." So even if they do not pay you money, you still must read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. And no, if you induce or cause someone to edit on your behalf, that is still a form of WP:SOCK and it is WP:PROXYING. I'm sorry, but if your only purpose on Wikipedia is to write about Birdman Bats or any other subject with which you have an outside connection, you cannot be unblocked. --Deep fried okra (schalte ein) 03:47, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

I did not receive undisclosed payments Skipbreen (talk) 20:58, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Even if you are not being paid by the company, there is still evidence that you have a conflict of interest with this company. In future unblock requests, please explain your connections with the company. Please also do not remove any past unblock requests until your unblock request is successful.
