Barony conflict of interest

I've reverted your edits to the draft for Barony, as you rewrote the entire article in a more promotional tone, removed content, and made citations bare links. If you have a conflict of interest regarding the game, you probably shouldn't be editing the article for it. For instance, links to buy the game under external links are generally frowned upon. I appreciate your interest in the game and more importantly the article, I'm actually surprised someone has made a genuine effort to draft one already. I removed the existing content without checking the author, I thought I was overwriting a draft written by someone on our team (Turning Wheel). Yes there is a conflict of interest and although I don't believe I wrote the article in a "promotional" tone (except for the external links -- I didn't realize that was bad form), I'd like to say that we've avoided writing an article about our own game for many years on account of the conflict of interest. But the fact that no one has stepped forward to do it in that time creates difficulty for us since Wikipedia is often mined for metadata from other websites to populate their info about a game. My hope was not to create an advertisement but to create a simple, short, reliable entry that was well-cited (admittedly my links were bare but I intended to correct that). Thank you for apologizing, I can see why you'd want an article for the game for metadata reasons. Sorry if I was a bit terse before - I'm a fan of the game and seeing what I wrote be deleted by someone connected to the game was disheartening. While not as promotional as an advertisement, I felt that the tone of the article resembled that of an official writeup for the game, and emphasized a bit much on where to buy the game. Barony draft declined

The draft's been declined, and I don't see any room for improvement until more sources come up. Even though the article's well-written, there isn't enough secondary coverage on the game right now, such as reviews from reliable sources. Hopefully some more coverage appears when the Switch version comes out, and I'm sorry that the article got declined, I know visibility's rough for indie games.
