Welcome
[edit]Hello Skylord101 and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to International Society for Krishna Consciousness, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.
If you still have questions, there is a Help desk, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

[edit]Hello, I'm Dāsānudāsa. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to International Society for Krishna Consciousness seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dāsānudāsa (talk) 12:09, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at International Society for Krishna Consciousness, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 16:31, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. FutureFlowsLoveYou (talk) 22:01, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Skylord101: Are you interested in discussing the reliability of your sources and your POV handling? It's hardly appropriate to fill up the WP:LEAD with primary sources and your own analysis of them.. Among other things.
- You've been raised questions and warnings multiple times before, can you start engaging instead of blanket ignoring your fellow editors? FutureFlowsLoveYou (talk) 09:39, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
[edit]Please see Talk:A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada#Name inconsistency for a discussion and explanation about his name, which was "Swami". If he used Swami as a title, he'd have been "Swami Swami".
Also see MOS:BOLD for the guidelines on how to use bold text (it's certainly not for quotes in the article lead), as well as WP:BRD for what to do when you have been reverted, as you are now edit warring. You need to open a discussion. Thanks, Dāsānudāsa (talk) 15:10, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- Please also read WP:3RR as you are at risk of making more than three reverts now. Dāsānudāsa (talk) 15:15, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
