The reason I changed the ANZ Cup standings was to provide more information. Highlighting the top 8 teams in green indicates that the top 8 teams will advance to the quarterfinals. However, it doesn't make a distinction between those teams which have already assured themselves a spot in the quarterfinals and those which only currently occupy one of the top 8 spots. The way I had it gives more information; the red line indicates that 8 teams will advance and highlighting will indicate which teams are assured of advancing. Take a look at Pool B of the 2008 Heartland Championship to see what I mean. It shows that the top 3 teams advance, that Wanganui and Mid-Canterbury have already qualified for the Meads Cup, and that King Country currently is in position to advance but is not yet assured of it.Alanmjohnson (talk) 15:46, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ANZ Cup Try Scorers

[edit]

Hey, where is your source for try scorers? I'm not questioning you; I was just trying to find it on the official site and could not. Where you have it listed that numerous teams have a player with 4 tries, I was thinking it would be improved if we said how many teams (4 teams? 7? 12? All of them). But without a table to look at myself (and without going to the trouble of poring over each match report) I can't.Alanmjohnson (talk) 23:13, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Wayne Barnes page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Demiurge 09:58, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
