Your Userpage

[edit]
Hi, Sock7215, you'll likely not be pleased about this but I have had a number of edits to your userspace which reveal too much personally identifiable information about yourself suppressed. I've done this per policy and for your own protection and safety on-line as you are a self-declared minor. I'm really sorry about that and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add it. For some useful information on privacy and safety, take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages - The Helpful One 23:53, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, on your page you gave quite a lot of detailed personal information that as stated above, is against our guidance for younger editors. If you feel strongly against my actions, you can re-add this information about yourself, but may I suggest that you don't include so much detail that you could be so easily identified? Hope this helps, The Helpful One 14:49, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, sorry - what page of yours was deleted exactly? I'm starting to get confused too! The Helpful One 15:06, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, not to worry, your user page was deleted so it looks like you haven't written anything on it. I can't remember what was on the page but I can find out for you if you like? The Helpful One 16:03, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I found that the problem was at User:Sock7215/Zachary Carter, which has now been deleted. :) The Helpful One 23:42, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you are reminded not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Jdforrester. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 18:56, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Angry Birds

[edit]

Greetings ... I wanted to let you know that your recent edits to the article for Angry Birds have been undone. While I believe you were working to improve the article, it's important to note that articles on video games should not include specific gameplay information, such as what each of the Angry Birds does. If you would like further information on why this is the case, I would suggest you read this section as well as this section. If you have other questions or concerns, please leave them here or on my talk page. Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing! --McDoobAU93 00:47, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not a thing to worry about ... I don't like to delete/revert without a good reason, especially when the editor is obviously working towards making the article better. The only problem with the edit was that it wasn't appropriate to the article, to the extent that it's not our job to say how to play the game, except in the general sense. Put another way, it's one thing to say you launch birds at things, but another to say "launch bird X at target Y on level Z."
We're always looking for more information on Angry Birds, and fans of the game are certainly welcome to contribute. Take a look through the talk page for the article and see if there's any other information you can provide.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Show (Internet Series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MarkDask 02:49, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
