Information icon Hello, I'm 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 00:33, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, SolomonKimball. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 00:33, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Let's try direct conversation[edit]

Hi, I've left a couple of notices above. Could you explain why you're removing a name from a Wikipedia article, and leaving a blank instead? Without an explanation, continuing to do so looks disruptive. Thank you, 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 00:37, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. • So your username really needs to change. What's more: your edits appear promotional, and they certainly add excessively to the article. Above, you were asked by 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 about your edits and you didn't answer; that is not a good way to work in a collaborative environment.
