This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines on the notability of people, the golden rule and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and Help:Introduction to referencing/1), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.

This reads more like a fluff piece and lacks the independent coverage necessary for inclusion (and had several copyright violations.) The sentence in the lead "among his publications...is the most cited" seems like an attempt to establish notability but doesn't give any indication of where it is the most cited. Is it in space? On Livejournal? On Wikipedia? It appears he's "most cited" in a series of (3?) random books, which doesn't really indicate much of anything. Citations: 6, 7, 8) are all pieces he has authored or co-authored, 3, 4, 5) are vague references to being cited in non-notable papers/books and gscholar 2, 1) are just his faculty "profiles" and offer no actual insight or coverage of him.

Actually, Stokes has over 183 citations for his Unconscious At Work chapter in books and journals. However, I read that listing them all would make the layout of the article appear untidy, so I wasn't sure how to indicate the volume of citations. It certainly isn't a mere three mentions. If you have any advice on how this could be done, it would be very much appreciated.[reply]
