Hi Soulman,

May I ask for a favor? It seems that since you created this account you have not been very active. So maybe you might be willing to let me use the nick soulman.

I do use this name on several Wiki projects including de:wikipedia (with over 1000 edits) wikibooks, and meta.wikimedia. I would be happy if I could use the same nick here too, since then I could bind it to my global user account. Currently I´m forced to use a different user on en.wikipedia.org.

What do you think?

Hi Soulman.de, I agree I haven't used this login in a while, yet, I still use wikipedia several times a week. Just haven't taken the time to login. I am going to keep the login, and make sure that I use it more often. I really like the screenname and also use it elsewhere on the internet. If I ever give it up then I'll let you know. Its 2012 now and your last contribution (besides answering me in 2010) was 2007, thus over 5 years ago. May that count as "giving up" your user account? May I ask again, if you are willing to consider letting me use the name? As mentioned I use that name in almost all wikipedia projects including commons and wikibooks . I cannot get a unified log in in all wiki projects because en.wikipedia.org is the only project where I don't have the nick. I mean since you do not write anything it would not hurt that much, right?
