My ANI

Hey there, if you get any time, could I trouble you to take a look at an ANI report I opened on Jitazg and see if it has any merit? I don't know why it hasn't received any admin attention other than maybe I made it too detailed-slash-wordy. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:55, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Do people get sanctioned with page bans at COIN? I don't spend enough time there. I really don't think he should be editing that article, but I respect your contrary opinion. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:25, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, I haven't been around in a long time, but back then admins at COIN would act quickly in such cases unlike at ANI. I would've blocked but the reason I did not was because it was at ANI for so long without any action. That's one reason I don't like ANI where there's less action than drama. —SpacemanSpiff 18:28, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Welcome back, BTW! Continuing with this Jitazg matter, one of the issues I brought up at the ANI had to do with Zubeen Garg being 'titled' "Luit Kontho". I detailed all of this at Talk:Zubeen Garg and Jitazg refused to participate in the discussion. I waited 10 days, then deleted the content. Jitazg appears to have logged out to restore the content, then they logged back in a few minutes later to revise the content. This happened after your warning, btw. From the references that Jitazg provided, it looks like the governor of Assam was present at a brand-new award mill ceremony and handed Garg an award (Facebook link). Because Jitazg is on a promotional campaign to turn every one of Garg's mundane farts into perfume, they are misrepresenting this non-notable award as equivalent to a state-issued one like the Padma Shri. Googling Luit Kontho tells me that only Garg has ever won this award/title. And if it is not an official government award, it would be like any other award issued by a mill: non-notable unless proven otherwise. Because of Jitazg's affection for Garg, they lack the objectivity to reason this through. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:51, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for handling this. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:01, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Regarding the same subject above, can you block their logged-out editing [1], they are also violating topic ban. 137.97.71.17 (talk) 16:07, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

That range is a bit busy with good IP contributions so I don't feel comfortable blocking it just as yet. —SpacemanSpiff 16:10, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Personal attack and racial slur. First of all, he don't know what caste am I or I have a caste at all. But he invoked the name of a lower-caste to insult me, also disparaging them. Insult against Pulaya, a Scheduled Caste is punishable by law, he also used the word "dalit" in a derogatory manner, which is banned by the government. I can file a case in the cyber cell.
