A tag has been placed on Alex Shipway, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Daniel.Bryant 10:18, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sexy Finch Films has been deleted for the same reason. Please review our guide to your first article, if nothing else, before posting more articles to Wikipedia. FreplySpang 11:15, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as Sexy finch films. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. NawlinWiki 12:16, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Stradbroke Island Galleon article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page.

Also, I noted that you originally created this article with a misspelled name, and then created a second article with the correct title. In the future, if you need to change the title of an article, please use the "Move" function (by clicking on the tab at the top of the article) rather than creating duplicates. Thank you.Russ (talk) 17:03, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
