Regarding the Kimi Finster AfD

[edit]

Just to make sure you're clear on how this works, there is nothing inherent in having an article put up for deletion that means you have to change the article. Articles can be nominated for deletion by anybody, and while it would be nice if nobody ever made a crank nomination, that isn't always the case. It is obvious (to me, at least, and probably to several others) that the nomination in question was made in bad faith, by someone who is upset that they aren't getting their particular way with the article.

The Mediation Cabal is a good place to go if you have a dispute about what should or should not be on the page if you can't resolve it on Talk:Kimi Finster.

Good luck, and happy editing. → Ξxtreme Unction {yakłblah} 16:30, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Yes, if you've looked at the history, Tamero has a history of constantly deleting what he sees to be unneccessary spaces which ARE needed to keep the text aligned with a certain picture. Still, tell me, IS the article REALLY that biased? Not only that but he claims we do not allow other contributions is completely false. We DO allow them, the only ones we do not are those that are Kimi-bashing. Also we a lot of times TRIM contributions but never delete them Staredcraft
    • Couldn't say how biased the article is. I wouldn't know Kimi Finster if she ran up and kicked me in the knee. My guess is that it's not too terribly biased, but that's based on the behavior of Tamao rather than any knowledge of the subject at hand. Tamao would rather see the entire article deleted if he/she can't have it his/her way. And that's pretty classic crank behavior. Which is why I suggested the Mediation Cabal. You talk to them, present your side, the other party presents their side, and hopefully a resolution can be reached. Doesn't actually require knowledge of the subject at hand. → Ξxtreme Unction {yakłblah} 16:51, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ok seriosuly go to the Talk:Kimi Finster thing and look at what Tamao posted...he thinks NEO and I should leave bashing untrue statements like Kimi being Bi-polar alone JUST because it was posted. I'm sorry but that is APPALING and NOT TRUE if you know what i mean.
    • I've posted to Talk:Kimi Finster page myself. I'm hoping we can all work together on this to reach some form of consensus. → Ξxtreme Unction {yakłblah} 20:52, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
      • Well it appears things have FINALLY be resolved with the Kimi Finster article. I'm so glad...NEO and I hope this never happends again and we will do our part to avoid it happening too.
