Request for unblocking
Stelio (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I'm not sure what's causing the block but I'm told, "The account $7 has been blocked (disabled) by $1 for the following reason(s): $2 This block will expire on $6." Not terribly helpful. ;-) Interestingly, I'm not blocked on Wiktionary.
Note that I don't appear on the list of active blocks, and I'm seeing MediaWiki:Blockedtext (with no parameters filled in) not MediaWiki:Autoblockedtext.
Decline reason:
That's a crappy message, and does seem like a bug. But the block is a colocation webhost block, not an autoblock. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 17:57, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
IP block exempt
I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. -- zzuuzz (talk) 10:15, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
- A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Thank you very much. To be reviewed in six months, I see. :-) -Stelio (talk) 15:28, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
- You randomly turned up when I was looking at something else. We should take these opportunities when they present themselves. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:20, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
