A tag has been placed on Saraswati International School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Saraswati International School

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Saraswati International School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable school, runs afoul of WP:RS and WP:ORG standards

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Pastor Theo (talk) 23:19, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!!

You have proposed deletion for this article without expressing any valid concern. Make sure to input reason for proposed deletion. Prod template without reason are of no use . Please read WP:PROD to make yourself familiar with PROD related policy.

Thank you

uploading a picture

[edit]

Hi, you asked how to include a picture. You can read WP:Image, and use the upload file on the left hand side of the screen. Copyright is a big issue and you have to prove that the image is free to use or that it is your own work. If it seems to much you can go to WP:IFU and ask for help. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:44, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry about adminship, you will have to be around for a year of doing a variety of things on Wikipedia first, and clock up thousands of edits. There are plenty of other things to do on Wikipedia. Find a project you are interested in and start collaborating with others on it. For your image, make sure it is on line on the internet somewhere and has a free license such as CC-BY-SA and post your request at WP:IFU. If you keep editing, after a few more days you will be autoconfirmed. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:49, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is no license for use on Wikipedia where you have to give your permission for every use. All the Wikipedia licenses will permit others to use the material, even for commercial use, and will also allow others to change it - a derivative work. If you don't want selected other people to use your picture, do not load it on to Wikipedia. Every day people add a license for use on Wikipedia only. This sort of thing will be deleted. For example I have found that three of my aerial photos were used on a web site, but I did not mind as I was attributed, and the license was creative commons attribution required, share alike.
