No the discussion may have been right at the time, but since then more sources such as the articles in Attitude magazine have been oubisljed.

It would be one thing if sourcing had changed from the original discussion, but it's unlikely it changed enough in one week to merit a unilateral change especially with multiple editors saying it didn't. Be mindful of edit warring in the future as well as it's something that could get you blocked. I'm not warning you, you didn't know. But it's something to be aware of as you edit more.
