Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Sapan Desai: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. I've replaced your message with a template, and moved it to the user's talk page —Snigbrook 00:58, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- The "only warning" template is not used very often, it is better to start with {{uw-vandalism1}}, {{uw-vandalism2}}, or {{uw-bv}} for blatant vandalism (although maybe I was slightly lenient with only a level 1 warning on that occasion). —Snigbrook 01:13, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
January 2008 - Advertising and Adding Links to your "Clinic Review" website
[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Omnibus (talk) 02:48, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
