Unreliable sources[edit]

[1]

Information icon Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight. These sources may express views that are widely acknowledged as pushing a particular point-of-view, sometimes even extremist, being promotional in nature, or relying heavily on rumors and personal opinions. One of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 12:39, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi OhNoitsJamie,
Thank you for your message and for bringing this to my attention. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by my edits. I understand the importance of using reliable sources on Wikipedia and will make sure to adhere to this policy in the future.
I normally double-check any fact from various resources. When I find the same facts presented in multiple sources, but notice that Wikipedia is missing that valuable information, I try to add it and cite one of those sources. Could you please specify which sources were considered unreliable so I can avoid similar issues going forward? I will review the pages I edited and replace any problematic sources with more reliable ones.
Additionally, I have contributed to Wikipedia in another language, where my edits have been considered helpful and valuable. This experience has taught me the importance of accuracy and reliability. I will consult the Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia and visit the Teahouse if I need further assistance to ensure my contributions meet Wikipedia's standards.
Thank you again for your guidance.
Best regards,

Given that you've only added links to networthandbio.com, it's fairly safe to assume that's the source I'm talking about. Please don't add it again. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:15, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
