What tool did you use to insert a citation in Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge?

I'm curious what tool you used to insert a citation in this edit to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. The citation that was inserted included a DOI that is invalid. I am guessing that you used some sort of semi-automated tool that inserted the DOI value for you; the tool is making an error that I need to report to its maintainer.
