Good Girls Club

[edit]

HI, The Good Girls Club article I wrote is about a new tv-show starting next month on Sky. I'm just saying this so that it is not deleted for being to close in name to the girls club or any other. That is the actual name of the show. Lady A.R.W (talk) 15:14, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Parametricism

[edit]

Okay the article you patrolled Parametricism seems to have a major coi-as seen that one of the major contributors is mentioned in it (I wouldn't of noticed had it not been for the fact that Patrik Schumacher was made by the creator of that article). Not sure if it should get a afd/prod though, just something you might want to look over. Wgolf (talk) 23:05, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

the format of ‎Parametricism is distinctively odd--look in the edit window--I have see it only once or twice before in WP--I will try to remember where. I didn't place the copyvio tag, on Patrik Schumacher, I removed an A7 tag. The copyvio now that I check is unmistakable, and I've according ]ly deleted the article, which I should have done earlier. I will advise the editor--even if permission were given , it would be inappropriate to use most of the material, as it's too promotional (as usual in such cases). The article is probably promotionalism for the concept rather than a NPOV article, but it is not clear enough for G1, and would need AfD. I looks very much thlike it was copied from somewhere but I have not yet found it. DGG ( talk ) 05:31, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
DGG, sorry for the late response. Feel free to delete the page now as copyvio of Patrik Schumacher thesis published in AD Architectural Design - Digital Cities, Vol 79, No 4, July/August 2009. I had tagged it appropriately. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 21:43, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to be a paraphrase, not a direct copy; it's very likely that similar texts have been written in various places. I suggest afd. DGG ( talk ) 23:21, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The previous version of the page before it was modified by an anonymous user was copied word-for-word. Since it had been significantly modified, I have no concern with copyvio but I think the page was created specifically to promote Patrik Schumacher. I have no objection to AfD but it seems, its likely to survive AfD. Feel free to nominate it, I will leave a comment thereafter. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 23:35, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Akinwunmi Ambode

[edit]

Thanks for noticing the similarity to their "Introduction" page. However, it's not a copyvio on our part, as far as I can tell. The basic contents of the article have been the same since creation in March 2014, but as recently as two months ago, the "Introduction" page was just a short sketch, nothing at all like our article. Unless someone can find evidence that this content was previously located somewhere else, I think we should consider this a {{Backwardscopy}} situation. Please let me know if you have any evidence of the sort; I'll readily re-delete it if we find that it's a copyvio. Nyttend (talk) 20:53, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I immediately began investigating upon declining it; what I just now said here is the result. Nyttend (talk) 21:58, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, that's fine Nyttend.happy editing! Wikigyt@lk to M£ 22:02, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
