Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Curbon7 (talk) 06:05, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Your edits to Libertarian Party (United States) were reverted by an automatic bot because they went against our Manual of Style. Specifically, for quotation marks, we use " instead of ” (MOS:CURLY); and for punctuation, we place those after quotation mark. Curbon7 (talk) 06:10, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh Jesus, so you do. Okay, good to know. Argh. I spent like an hour fixing all of that on mobile… won’t make that mistake again! Also, as for the actual quote marks, I only have one option on my keyboard. Is there some way I can choose which quote marks to use? Tacomanottahoma (talk) 10:40, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
