Re: RfA reports

Ummm...there seems to be a problem with one of the reports...propably has to do something with the fact that someone decided to move one of the RfAs...you might want to go check out the problem... Nat Tang ta | co | em 11:53, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Nubio

Hey Tangotango. I'm wondering if it will be possible to get a installation of Nubio on the toolserver, so we over on wikinews can adapt it, for new uses, or general help, etc. Let me know if that might, or might no be possible, cheers :) Brian | (Talk) 05:57, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Whatredirectshere

hallo tangotango. newly, the templates for lowercase-beginning word (like en:Template:lowercase) will show correct title, if JavaScript is enabled, same with de:Vorlage:korrekter Titel - thus, my mozilla-plugin won't work correct, as I take the correct shown title by highlighting: maybe You could redo that in Your script: make the input not case-sensitive - always those extras.. ;) but its not really important.. greetings -- W!B: 01:08, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Whatredirectshere

Hi Tangotango.

First, please forgive my bad English, as my mother tongue is French.

I find your tool Whatredirectshere very useful, and I think there is another tool like this one that would be very useful too: Whattranscludesthat. It would find out in which pages a given page (typically a template, but not necessarily) is transcluded.

Ideally, this tool would be able to distinguish first-level transclusions from any other level of transclusion.

What do you think of that idea? Would it be possible to create? Thank you. /845/6.04.2007/12:09 UTC/

Tangobot error?

Hello! You might be interested in this conversation, which was prompted by this edit to WP:RFA regarding Tangobot's parsing of the RFA pages for stats. I regularly have to replace the '----' above the first RFA when candidates or proposers transclude their pages and erase the dashes. Tony Sidaway may have been making a point about the use of bots but can something be done to the Tangobot in order to automatically re-insert the dashes to the page when it detects that they are missing? IRC bots

Your IRC bots have gone missing from #wikipedia-en-help. -- John Reaves 01:36, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

I've been working with User:Dhoom4 to help bring his article to a non copyvio state and into something which may be appropriate for Wikipedia. Can you please check this out, since you were one of the blocking admins, thanks. User:Dhoom4/Colayer Tiggerjay 05:57, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Kentaro Noda

User:Yui shop reposted Kentaro Noda. Is this user one of the sockpuppets of Noda himself? --ThinkingBlack 01:56, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

User:Noda,Kentaro created Kentaro Noda again. Obviously this user is going to vandalize English Wikipedia too. I am afraid somebody will have to request for block him. --ThinkingBlack 15:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

RFA bot

Hi there! Could you perhaps have your RFA bot make a similar list template for the admin nominations on Commons and Metawiki? It appears some people would find this helpful. Yours, >Radiant< 09:08, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Removal of sourced information from Stitch 'n Bitch

I saw you had removed from Stitch 'n Bitch the sentence about a letter received by the OTRS system about the article with the comment that it was unsourced. The description of the letter contents was unsourced, so that part makes sense.

The existence of the letter, however (not it contents, just its existence), was sourced to a comment made by a Wikipedia administrator. I don't know if that was deleted because it was considered to violate the privacy of the OTRS system, because that particular statement in the article posed a legal problem for Wikipedia, because of an opinion that it was not appropriate, or for some other reason.

I have no desire to put Wikipedia in difficult legal circumstances or to violate its policies. If that's what I did by adding that statement to the article, I would like to know so I can be aware and avoid such actions in the future. LyrlTalk C 21:34, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
