February 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Brian Litchenberg, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 08:09, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Jim1138 (talk) 08:09, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Brian Litchenberg with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Brian Litchenberg[edit]

I seriously doubt that Vanity Fair is committing fraud. If you have serious objections, I suggest you discuss it on WP:BLPN. Jim1138 (talk) 08:25, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Lichtenberg[edit]

Argue it on WP:BLPN. Do not delete the article content. Claiming that the article is fraudulent without anything to back it up is not acceptable. Jim1138 (talk) 08:37, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Brian Litchenberg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 09:27, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You need to bring the issue up at WP:BLPN (click the link follow the instructions) or follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Contact us - Subjects. If you continue blanking the article I'll have no choice but to block you to prevent the disruption. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 10:04, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
