(Cross-posting this from the article talk page in case you don't see it there) Unfortunately this happens quite a lot; tutors seem to give their students projects like this without knowing much about what Wikipedia actually is, still less making sure that the students do. The problem is that a good college project and a good Wikipedia article are two very different things; a Wikipedia article describes the state of the subject as already published, without trying to introduce novel ideas, arguments or conclusions, whereas novel ideas and conclusions are exactly what you get marks for in a college-level assignment. I suggest you have a read at some of or main policy pages like the five pillars, neutral point of view, no original research and verifiability - all articles have to abide by these and Wikipedia is not a free web host for college projects which don't. That's not to say that there aren't some very good articles which have started as college projects, but they have to be approached in a very different manner to a typical term paper.
