Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article List of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders episodes, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 03:01, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In this edit you state that two characters in The Lost Hero are specifically identified as children of specific gods. Having read the two chapters available, nowhere does it state this. Are you right? Probably. However, at Wikipedia we only insert verifiable information not speculation. Please do not reinsert your ideas about who may or may not be these character's parents until the book comes out and identifies them. AniMate 20:24, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Out of curiosity, could you point out which page of the two released chapters where it states Jason is a son of Zeus and Leo is a son of Hephaestus? AniMate 03:59, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The next time you add speculative information to the article, you will be blocked. AniMate 05:29, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

List of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders episodes

[edit]

Please provide a reliable source for the dates you've placed on List of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders episodes. Otherwise, I will change them back to those give by MSN TV. Also, provide a reliable source for the recent episode titles as they also conflict with those given my MSN TV. Providing a reliable source is mandatory as the information is in dispute. —Farix (t | c) 11:44, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Belated welcome

[edit]

It strikes me that perhaps you are having difficulties because you don't quite understand the nuts and bolts of editing. Some good policy pages to read are WP:Verifiability and WP:Reliable sources. As for getting started, you should be welcomed... so: Welcome!

Hello, TheLostHero2012, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! As per the hidden notes on the page, do not use the English language names until the episode airs in an English speaking locality. As it stands, none of the character and Pokémon names you are using have been officially confirmed.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:34, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Do not modify List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes unless you have a reliable source to back up your edits. "Cilan" is not confirmed anywhere, and neither are Chili or Cress. And because not all of the English language names are out, do not change the Pokémon names or city names until they are confirmed.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:43, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please pay attention to the hidden notes in this article. Your edits – changing the Japanese names to English – appear to be going against consensus. Consensus can change and if you disagree with the current consensus, you should start a discussion on the talk page (click the tab labelled "talk" or "discussion" at the top of the page), but if you continue to change the names against the current consensus, it may be considered disruptive. Edit Summary

[edit]

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.
• I would also suggest that you 'talk' to other editors occasionally. Wikipedia is about writing co-operatively, discussing and forming a consensus when editors disagree. Editors who are not able to communicate tend to find editing less fun than they thought. Just a suggestion. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 15:08, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. JDDJS (talk) 23:09, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to List of Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge episodes. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 16:40, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

you will start responding to the concerns of other editors including the ANI discussion linked above. We expect all editors to engage with their peers. This means replying to their concerns, discussing edits when necessary on article- and user-talk pages, using edit-summaries, and generally making it easy for other editors to understand why you've done what you've done. This is absolutely fundamental to the collaborative process of building Wikipedia, and editors who continually fail to communicate in a meaningful way are eventually blocked. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
