Hey Drmies,
Thank you for the warm welcome, and appreciate the links!
The edit I made to Sardar Gulab Singh was not a test. In the two edits before my edit, you'll see User:Slayer_7928 adding the last name "Rathore" to the page, while also removing "Khatri". "Khatri" and "Rathore" indicate two different castes. User:Slayer_7928 self-identifies as a "Rathore" himself - as listed on his user page at the time of writing - and is thus partial to claiming a notable historical personality for his own caste-group.
However, it is not backed up by the sources. The very first source on the page of Sardar Gulab Singh clearly lists "Khatri" as part of the personality's name, and does not say "Rathore" was part of his name at all. I added one more source which explicitly states he was a Khatri. Again, no mention of him being a Rathore.
User:Slayer_7928 tried making a similar change to the page of the Dallewalia Misl - which was a state founded by the said personality. Once again, he paid no heed to the fact there were two sources right next to the part where he made the change, backing up the information that he removed, while failing to support that which he added. But he did it anyway.
I provided an archive link to my sources as well, not just an Amazon link.
Looking forward to hearing back.
