User talk:The Music Run
There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. The Music Run (block log • active blocks • global blocks • autoblocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))

Okay I can choose another name - ANY NAME will do. If you can point out exactly what is wrong with my edits I can change them. I really don't want to use Wikipedia for advertising I just want someone to mention or write about The Music Run and include it in the Wikipedia encyclopaedia. Wikipedia is supposed to include EVERYTHING and this event has been going since 2015 and has been all around the world so it is something note worthy that should be included. We are happy for someone else to write the article without our guidance if this is advertising but it should be included somehow on Wikipedia. I am new to Wikipedia and all its rules and find it a very hard platform to use as it's not designed for someone who isn't savvy with using Wikipedia. I understand there are lots of rules/ regulations/ guidelines and I am yet to find someone who can help me step by step and tell me what to do. I have been on the help forums and chat and no one is very helpful or instructions are very confusing and unclear. If someone can please get back to me and guide me or let me know it's not possible to add this myself and why so I can let my company know would be much appreciated.
Decline reason:
Firstly, you'll still need to propose a new username that agrees with the username policy. Secondly, Wikipedia is not at all meant to include everything. There's no article about my dog, nor should there be one. Thirdly, if you don't want to use Wikipedia for advertising, your conflict of interest seems to be far too strong to write neutrally about this topic. To pick a random example, it was founded "as a way of encouraging young people to lead more active and fulfilling lives through running"? Seriously? If it wasn't founded as a way to make its founders wealthy, why is it a for-profit organization? Huon (talk) 22:19, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
You are not permitted to blank prior unblock declines. Please do not do so again. Thanks. Note you are also totally misinformed. It is categorically not the case that Wikipedia is supposed to include everything. See WP:EVERYTHING. --Yamla (talk) 22:07, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
