Blocked[edit]

Sorry, but per WP:CLEANSTART, a clean start is permitted only if there are no bans, blocks or active sanctions in place against your old account and User:Hiineedrequestforcomment has been blocked indefinitely. I have started a WP:ANI thread to review this block, in case you find it unjust. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 21:30, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A quick question: does this mean that I can never return to Wikipedia to make constructive changes? As my username says, I have been "reformed". Does it mean that all indefinitely-blocked users cannot ever return to Wikipedia to make changes, even if they are helpful? I hope you can amend policy to accommodate those reformed vandals who have true desire to make constructive edits. Also, I don't see how this is going to be a sufficient review. Administrators usually (as far as I've been seeing) back each other's blocks and get involved as well. I'm in an utter dilemma here. The Reformed Editor (talk) 23:11, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I don't understand why I have to be blocked again. As I said on my user page, I came here for a fresh start. Yes, there is a ban against my old account, but I returned for a new beginning. I see you have notified Jpgordon. I hope he learns to know me qua a constructive editor. When I returned, I believed that I would be received nicely. I was honest on my user page. I didn't try to hide that I was associated with Hiineedrequestforcomment. Furthermore, my edits were all constructive. I improved the content of Julia Mancuso, Shaun White, Ted Ligety, Purna, Akola city, and 2010 Winter Olympics. My sweeping changes have upgraded the quality of Wikipedia. I am truly disappointed that Wikipedia administrators block users who used to make unwelcome changes and then return with the genuine desire to make improvements. I hope that you will come to understand newcomers' impulses and better interact with them.

Decline reason:

Personally, I feel fresh starts are good. However, we have what's called the standard offer, which may or may not apply in cases such as yours. Typically, one would file their OFFER under their old account, if accepted, then they would perform a fresh start once unblocked. As of now, however, you are considered to be evading a valid block by WP:SOCKing (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:26, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm glad there are some compassionate, feeling administrators here on Wikipedia. I commend you for being one of them. I have fully read through the standard offer. So I log in with Hiineedrequestforcomment and file an offer? What do you mean by "an offer"? I am getting hopeful that things will turn out in a favorable way for both Wikipedia and me. Thanks for helping me out! The Reformed Editor (talk) 20:29, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if I am to edit my old talk page using my old account, Hiineedrequestforcomment, my block settings need to be changed to allow me to edit my talk page. Thanks. The Reformed Editor (talk) 23:57, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I have re-enabled your editing privileges for User talk:Hiineedrequestforcomment, but of course, the account is still blocked indefinitely. Make your case there, and good luck. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 00:40, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
