User talk:The user 2000
Welcome
[edit]Hello, The user 2000, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am Deepu Joseph (a.k.a. thunderboltz). Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Provide an Edit summary
- Take a look at Consensus of standards. It is always wise to read the talk page of an existing article before making major changes on it. Even then, I typically ask if anyone minds that I make a change. Very often they do! ;-)
- Create a User page
Again, welcome! And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask - Just click here to leave me a message; or add {{helpme}} to this page.-- thunderboltz(Deepu) 07:50, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Poomulli
[edit]I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Poomulli, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Poomulli. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.-- thunderboltz(Deepu) 07:50, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- The problem here, is that wikipedia does not usually entertain such articles. Even the article on the Paliam family (who were hereditary chief ministers of Kochi) was deleted. The criteria is, if there was a notable person(s) from your family, then you can write an article on him/her (and not on the family). So please don't be disappointed if the article gets deleted.-- thunderboltz(Deepu) 11:56, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Poomulli
[edit]I saw you created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/non-notable; the page where you can comment on the notability of the article you created is instead Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Poomulli (there has been an error by someone else when nominating this article for deletion). Please comment about the deletion of the article in this second page. (Liberatore, 2006). 19:39, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
I made a mistake
[edit]Hello, When I sent the article for AfD I made a mistake and because of my mistake you posted your comment on the wrong page. Sorry about that. Now, user:Mr Stephen has fixed it. I just wanted to explain it.Kuntan 23:29, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Poomulli (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
