Product websites are not reliable sources

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Hi, I beg to differ. This section is a reference to tools that can prevent tipping of vending machines. I was not able to find scholarly research about the effectiveness of safety brackets being screwed between a wall and a vending machine. The rules around reliable sources say that e-commerce links can be used if journalistic and academic sources are not available. The Prevention section is a summary of tools available to owner operators and distributors of vending machines can consider that can prevent tipping, a section that serves as a public service to people looking to secure vending machines. I don't believe that an entire section that provides options for safety should be deleted just because there's not a scientific journal talking about anti-tip devices. The anti-tip devices exist and are on the market, which is fact. This section uses e-commerce sources to provide verification that the tools do exist. I feel that this is a better solution than just listing anti-tip options with no sources. I am open to other suggestions as to provide this information, but I think deleting the section is a disservice to the community.

Vendor and e-commerce sources

Although the content guidelines for external links prohibit linking to "Individual web pages that primarily exist to sell products or services", inline citations may be allowed to e-commerce pages such as that of a book on a bookseller's page or an album on its streaming-music page, in order to verify such things as titles and running times.
