Your Recent Edits to BOS[edit]

Hello. I've noted your recent edits to the article. A couple of points:

  • You'll come across better if you don't discard reference citations for content that's still part of the article. You'll see a couple of vestigial (e.g., [10]) reference marks that are no longer supported in the reference section. If you could repair those citations (check the history for earlier versions with the citations intact) that would be appreciated.
  • Also, it's probably not germaine to offer "counter criticisms" in an encyclopaedic article. The article is not for debates among editors. Aside from the fact that there's only one counter in the whole section, you're coming across (to me anyway) as an insider by including such a specific counterpoint. If the original criticisim is inccorrect, then I'd remove it and give a justification in the comments section for the edit, and perhaps the discussion page.
  • Finally, Renee is an affiliate professor which I suspect you know is a huge difference from being a "professor," and at the time of the original Value Innovation papers, she was not any sort of professor. Let's not overstate her pedigree.

I like your work on expanding the content, but make sure you're careful not to come across as biased (including your name "thinkingblue" and that you've edited no other articles which are tipoffs to your purpose here). Mattnad (talk) 20:38, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
