Unfortunately, my fellow Wikipedians have decided at this time that I am not suitable to take on this additional responsibility, as the RfA failed with a result of 66/27/5 (71.0% support). Redirect for deletion

Yes, it is true that I accidentally created Template:Infobox NYCS in the main space and then moved it to the template space; I just thought that the leftover redirect was fairly useless (who's going to link to Infobox NYCS?) and didn't see the point of leaving it around. I have no real objection to leaving it, however. —Larry V 23:48, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your kind words in my RfA and for taking the time to vote for me. The RfA passed with a final vote of 54/2/1 despite my obvious inadequacy for the job. I'll do my level best to use the mop and bucket — or, as I said in my RfA, plunger — responsibly. Of course, in the best tradition of politicans everywhere, I've already broken a campaign promise (I blocked a vandal last night despite having said "I don't anticipate using the blocking tool very often"). The person who reverted my dab-move (maybe you, not 100% sure), said that most links go to the soap. Well the other go at least mostly to [B (dabword)]. To weaken the given argument and to be sure that the Brookside links are really meant to go to the soap I started to mark them. That's it. Sheffield Castle

Hi! I noticed that you added the Sheffield Castle article to the category 'Visitor attractions in Sheffield'. I'm a little bit suprised by this, as the last I knew the 'castle' consisted of a couple of piles of stones in a cellar underneath one of the market buildings, and most people from Sheffield don't even know that it is there, let alone visitors. If this is still the case, I think that classifying it as a visitor attraction is a little strange. Has something changed since I was last in Sheffield? JeremyA 16:07, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Wormegay Castle

Hi.

I noticed you added Category:Visitor attractions in Norfolk to Wormegay Castle, but that the text of the article gives no support to this, and indeed it isn't even clear from the article's text whether there is any public access to the castle site. If your edit was based on knowledge not in the article, could I respectfully request that you update the article as well. If on the other hand it was based on an assumption, then I think the article should be removed from the article until we know better. -- Chris j wood 18:39, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Paddy russell.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
