Exact Birth Date

[edit]

Dear Toffeepot,

Thank you for getting in touch regarding the exact birth date on the Nick Smith MP article. Unfortunately since becoming a Member of Parliament Mr Smith has been a victim of identity fraud because details like his date of birth are readily accessible online. To avoid similar cases of fraud I have changed the exact date to "January 1960". Readers should be able to work out his age easily enough from this information. Thank you again for raising this with me, I'm new to wikipedia editing and would not have known how to communicate with other users. If you would like to discuss this further you can e-mail me at rowanree@yahoo.co.uk.

Best wishes, Rowan Ree — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rowanree89 (talkcontribs) 12:34, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"The Fat Duck" introductory sentence

[edit]

Hi, Toffeepot. Thank you for your explanation about reinstating the introductory sentence "In 2009 the restaurant suffered from the largest ever recorded norovirus outbreak with over 400 diners falling unwell." I am very new to Wikipedia and I really appreciate your help whilst I am getting to grips with everything. If you have any other advice, please do let me know. Thank you again.
