Hello Tom, it is very kind of you to inform me that you are going to improve my stub article on Ilaria Capua: I am sure that you'll do a competent and scientifically correct work. I have no specific culture but, being an Italian, simply thought that Dr. Capua deserved a page in English wikipedia; so I translated parts of the Italian article and tried to summarize the main information about this remarkable scientist. I will be glad to read your edits with attention and interest. Best wishes for a good work! --Pebbles (talk) 16:37, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi -- Thank you! I went over to the Wikipedia discussion page called "The Teahouse" and asked if I have a conflict of interest, due to the fact that I work for the University of Florida, and so does Dr. Capua. The answer was, yes -- I have a conflict of interest. So, I'm not supposed to edit anything myself.
Instead, I will need to submit edit requests and other Wikipedia editors will decide what to post. That's fine with me, and I hope it doesn't inconvenience you. I am going to get started later this week, but I will have to post the material in bits and pieces because the full piece I have is pretty long.
Thanks,
Tom

- Hello, Tom, no inconvenience for me. I did not imagine there could be any conflict due to your role, but this strict rules show that wikipedia is a very serious thing. I'll follow the future history of the page. Best greetings.--Pebbles (talk) 09:38, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello again. I see that you added some text to your user page to disclose you paid editing. I have changed it to use a special "template" that standardizes the disclosure, and added the "list of edited articles". See {{Paid}}
for the details of how it works.
The box is no obligation and you can choose to "revert" my edit if you so choose (click this link, then press "undo"). In any case, the disclosure must state the employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which they receive, or expect to receive, compensation
. TigraanClick here to contact me 15:54, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello -- If that template you added is a standard/expected way of disclosing my affiliation, that's fine. I should note that I haven't actually proposed any edits yet, although I expect that to change soon.
Thanks,
