Can I have some help.[edit]

Hi there.

I noticed your {{helpme}} on User_talk:Monterey_Bay#Can_I_have_some_help..

If you need help from any helper, you should use helpme right here - on your own talk page.

If, however, you wanted to contact that user (Monterey Bay), then you only needed to write on their talk page - you didn't need the {{helpme}}.

In other words - {{helpme}} is to get help from anyone, and gets the attention of helpers (like me).

Anyway...to answer your question...

(Tomas.carney (talk) 13:28, 14 December 2010 (UTC)) {{helpme}} I am going to start an article (actually my sister but she doesn't want credit) so I wanted to ask can you edit this and tell me how can help. ( The article will come later)[reply]

The WP:WIZARD should guide you through it. And there is also a guide, WP:FIRST.
Be very very careful about 'sharing' of accounts - basically, don't do it. It's far better if your Sister creates her own user account. Each individual takes full responsibility for their own edits, and the use of multiple accounts very often leads to blocks; see Wikipedia:MULTIPLE.
For more help, you can either;
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello :-)  Chzz  ►  16:40, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What exactly do you need help with? --Monterey Bay (talk) 03:56, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Western Wheel Works has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Too short. No serious article, but not sure whether it meets the CSD-rules.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Western Wheel Company requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. • It is considered bad form to blank your user talk page. You deserved to have the above two titles deleted for posting such unfinished stuff. But I have moved the second one to User:Tomas.carney/sandbox. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:58, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for contributing new article Neo-Assyrian lion hunting. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources. Please help by adding sources to the article you created and by making it clear how the sources support the material (see here for how to do inline referencing). Many thanks! PS If you need any help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Your article submission Neo-Assyrian lion hunting[edit]

Hello Tomas.carney. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Neo-Assyrian lion hunting.
