Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jean Lambert-wild, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. The sources say he was suspended, and this is significant enough to be mentioned in the lead. Please stop trying to recharacterize the situation. If you believe the current presentation is incorrect, please begin a discussion of the matter on the article's talk page and seek comments and consensus. Hello,
Hello Jean Lambert-wild is now the artistic director of the 326 cooperative (https://www.lambert-wild-malaguerra.com/fr/la-cooperative-326 )
Moreover, the presentation made on the English page is inaccurate. He received many letters of support ( https://www.lepopulaire.fr/limoges-87000/loisirs/une-lettre-de-soutien-a-jean-lambert-wild-directeur-du-theatre-de-l-union-de-limoges-adressee-a-la-ministre-de-la-culture_13856832/ )
it was stated in this article by the ministre ( https://www.lepopulaire.fr/limoges-87000/loisirs/le-ministere-de-la-culture-tres-attentif-a-la-crise-au-theatre-de-l-union-a-limoges_13865997/)
The current presentation is incorrect It is therefore more accurate to say that he left his management post following a social conflict. This is more objective and less partisan. My change proposals are sourced. Tricolet (talk) 18:31, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good morning,
I will be very happy to discuss it with you.
Much of the information on this page is incorrect. some are even partisan.
It does not reflect the truth of the facts.
Your sources, moreover, are not good or clearly incomplete. Tricolet (talk) 08:56, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Raise your concerns on the article's talk page and gain a consensus rather than simply declaring the sources to be bad. But only if you're being sincere. If you're going to identify him primarily as a "white clown", as though that means something, then you aren't being sincere. Largoplazo (talk) 10:54, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Good morning,
Thank you for your reply.
Jean Lambert-wild is recognized in France for his artistic work of Clown blanc. There are several sources justifying this

Etc... Tricolet (talk) 11:13, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hugh Jackman is known largely for playing the character Wolverine, but "Wolverine" is neither an occupation nor his occupation. Largoplazo (talk) 11:39, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me but you are making a mistake.
The white clown is a historically recognized profession. It has nothing to do with a character like Wolverine
https://www.linternaute.fr/expression/langue-francaise/15677/clown-blanc/
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clown
https://www.ina.fr/ina-eclaire-actu/video/caf06048051/le-clown-blanc
It is a very old clownish tradition which differs from other clowns like "the august or the counterpitre"
Besides, there are not many white clowns in activity anymore. We can mention in addition to Jean Lambert-wild, Alberto Caroli, Yan Rossi, Hadrien Trigance, The Clown Loretta, the White Clown Sergio, Laurent Barboux... etc.
You are therefore making a mistake, probably linked to the fact that this artistic profession is very specific and that little practice.

I apologize that my ignorance on this subject led to my misinterpreting the nature of your characterization of him, and for the tone of my reaction. On that same note, though, I would suggest that most readers of English Wikipedia will be equally unaware of the significance of calling someone a "white clown" and will, like me, imagine that it represents an act of vandalism. I recommend that you find wording that explains that he performs as a white clown without supposing that the reader already knows what that means. Largoplazo (talk) 16:00, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Good morning,
It is I who apologize. I'm new to Wikipedia and I don't know all the codes and principles yet. I am passionate about the history of the circus and white clowns. This is why I follow with interest the work of Jean Lambert-wild, who brings to light this ancient artistic expression. There are still a lot of things to correct on his file and it will take me a little time. your advice will help me. For example, there is an inaccuracy about the conflict at the Union Theater that I followed. Jean Lambert-wild was not charged with harassment. He had to face a social conflict that he was unable to manage. The information on this conflict present in his data sheet was then put to discredit his work. For example, he was not suspended from duty. It was he who decided to leave because this conflict exhausted him morally.
It also lacks a whole passage on his recognized work as a white clown.
Thank you for your advice. I'm going to add a little context sentence on the white clown to enlighten readers. It is true that the term can be confusing. I don't know if the English translation is very accurate. Tricolet (talk) 10:18, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Largoplazo (talk) 11:41, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
