{{unblock}}

I have emailed karafist explaining my issues.

Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by Karmafist for the following reason (see our blocking policy): Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Trollsb". The reason given for Trollsb's block is: "Neil Cicierega POV Sockpuppet". Your IP address is 125.63.137.59.

Basically I did join in voting on the animutaion and neil cicigiaria topics, i feel i porvided good legitimiate reasons about why i felt the pages should remain. I had been iterested in wikipedia before then just had not been bothered to register an account. I have read more into the blocking policies since then and understand more about what is expected from wikipedians, and i was attempting to update the suburb on this topic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vales_Point_power_station as part of becoming a more productive wikipedian.

I'd hope that joining a votewar initially is not enough to prevent a person from ever contributing to wikipedia if they have serious intentions of being a more valuable contributor.

I have added all this information to my talk page as i had not recieved a reply to my email to Karmafist.

I've unblocked you. Karmafist had his adminship withdrawn last February, so he couldn't have unblocked you, and he hasn't been very active on Wikipedia lately, so I'm not surprised he didn't respond. --Sam Blanning(talk) 10:06, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this it doesnt appear to have worked tho i still get blocked error when i click edit.

The autoblocker must have kicked in earlier, try now. --Sam Blanning(talk) 12:16, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Charlton Hill Homebush 2003.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Charlton Hill Homebush 2003.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 23:08, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am the creator of the file. I do not see how this was of contention when I provided same information for the image of Jason Singh. How can this misinterpretation be corrected? trollsb (talk) 14:02, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, okay. I looked at the deleted file and edits. I think the reason I tagged it (not 100% positive, it was awhile ago) was because of the line "Photo taken by Cole Maria Thompson-Brown 16th November 2003 at 5:21pm.", and I couldn't tell whether or not you are Cole Maria Thompson-Brown. Did you take the picture? Or did someone else? –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 15:59, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes that is my full name, the documentation I looked at said that was the format which i should write. If you notice the jason singh picture says the same thing - and you had no worry with that. I am Cole Maria Thompson-Brown, I took that picture as well as the jason singh one, and any that I attribute my name to. I was under the impression that writing photo by trollsb was not acceptable as that's simply a pseudonym.trollsb (talk) 01:08, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Convention is that it is either/or, it's just that if you use your real name without specifying that that is your name, then it could have been taken by a friend or something. Per WP:AGF, though, I'll restore the image. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 13:57, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
 Done, apologies for the error. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 14:00, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Charlton Hill Homebush 2003.JPG needs authorship information.[edit]

Dear uploader:

The media file you uploaded as File:Charlton Hill Homebush 2003.JPG appears to be missing information as to its authorship (and or source), or if you did provide such information, it is confusing for others trying to make use of the image.

It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.

Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided),authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).

  • If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which:{{subst:usernameexpand|Trollsb}} will produce an appropriate expansion,
    or use the {{own}} template.
  • If this is an old image, for which the authorship is unknown or impossible to determine, please indicate this on the file description page.
If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:49, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
