Welcome[edit]

Hello, Twotino, and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are a course instructor leading a class project.

New to Wikipedia or want to learn about best practices for Wikipedia assignments?

Go through our online training for educators.

The training includes instructions for setting up a structured course page, with tools for tracking student work and encouraging peer review. Please also see this helpful advice for instructors.

If you run into problems or want some feedback on your Wikipedia assignment plans, try posting to the education noticeboard.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay after your assignment is finished! 220 of Borg 18:22, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@220 of Borg: Thanks. We had already worked with the people at Wikipedia education noticeboard while setting up this course page. Indeed, I've already gone through most of the training you've linked to, but I can't remember if I completed it; there was some overlapping material from a different source, and so I may have decided to skip the last few pages. :) - Twotino (talk) 06:20, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, just 'protocol' I suppose. I would normally give something like a {{first article}} template message for those writing new pages. WP:your first article is its main link. I added a {{welcome student}} template to many of your students pages, though some appeared to have already completed some type of on-line WP training. 220 of Borg 06:46, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
