HI can we change the picture on this user box.

I think something like "Allah" written in Arabic calligraphy, which is the norm for Islam on Wikipedia, would be a better representation of Muslims. Bless sins 20:24, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can create another box with whichever picture you like. You can call it Muslim instead of User Muslim or you can call it User Moslem or User moslem like the User muslim that was before and they delete it. The Peace WorshipperTalk 22:41, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your version is unacceptable. It puts usertemplates and userpages into Category:Muslims, which is a main articlespace category, not a wikipediaspace or userspace one. As for the image, since there currently (and in the past) seems to be much more support for a version with "Allah" or some other text, and since it is unwise at this point to create new POV-expressing userboxes (in fact, it's not unlikely that all religious userboxes will be deleted in the near future), this version is more appropriate for the main userbox; variations like yours should be at names like {{user Muslim2}} (or {{user muslim2}}, not at variant spellings, which cause disorder. Also, you should be very happy that your userbox wasn't speedy-deleted as a recreation of a speedy template, as numerous others were; to demand that everyone else also conform to your specific layout preferences is asking too much. But, as a compromise, I'm adding code that will make it possible to replace the "Allah" with alternative text, images, or anything else you prefer, simply by typing {{user Muslim|X}}, with X being the image or text code. -Silence 22:50, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

you wrote lillah and not Allah in arabic. Anybody can put any picture they like. BUt the First Qibla is goo dto have as the default picture. The Peace WorshipperTalk to TPW129. 09:07, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the only significnce of the Qiblah, is that it is representative of the "House of God" (Bait-ul-Allah). It is Allah that is significant, not the place.Bless sins 14:42, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Silence, I made the appropriate changes that it will add only to Mulim Wikipedians although category:Muslim was created for the purpose to add the people who uses this userbox. Furthermore, you still have the option of inculding any picture or text you like when you type {{user Muslim|X}}, with X being the image or text code. But I still think for this userbox the image is the appropriate default picture. If you disagree go ahead and make another userbox of your own with different default and use it. Why not use this image? Bless sins 14:42, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
