I wanted to welcome you and thank you for the additions you made. It's great to get a bit more detail into shorter articles like the school district as well as setting up redirects that could be search topics. I did want to explain to you why your reference on John JP Poliquin kept getting removed. I know you meant it in good faith and wanted to add information but because of how frequently people try to play pranks or target living people we have to take their articles even more seriously then usual (you can see our policy here ). Because of that we want to make sure that anything even potentially controversial is referenced to what we call "Reliable sources" which usually means a newspaper, or a magazine or something like that. Pages like Facebook (especially private ones like JP's but really any one) need to be avoided because of how frequently they can change, how easily they can be faked et cetera (Not to mention that they tend to be personal, and private, pages not really meant for the whole world).
Thanks for your understanding and if you have any questions or need any help though please feel free to let me know! If you have any questions about wiki editing you may want to take a look at our Wikipedia cheatsheet which is a great reference :) Jalexander--WMF 17:55, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
