[edit]Hello, I'm NewEnglandYankee. I noticed that you recently removed content from Machismo without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Machismo
[edit]I reverted your edit at Machismo because you don't own content. You donated your words the moment you clicked "publish." Please read the small print under the edit window. As a new editor, you have little reason to revert one of our experienced Wikipedians. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:26, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not upset if I'm reverted, and I accept the explanation you gave on my Talk page. However, @Chris troutman is right: there's no reason to remove good content from Wikipedia, regardless of who inserted it. This content looks relevant, informative, and well-sourced. If that's not true, your edit summary should reflect whatever's going on; otherwise it's just confusing. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 18:47, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
student?
[edit]Also, please have your teacher email contact@wikiedu.org to discuss editing Wikipedia as an assignment. We actually have an outreach organization specifically for this function. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:42, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
