Dealing with unsourced content[edit]

While it is important to ensure that material here is verifiable, other than in the case of living people, there is no need to delete material that is marked as unsourced. Instead it is better to find sources for it and add them to the article. Do you think you could try to do this? --John (talk) 12:43, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

July 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Algeria. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. {{help me|What can I do?}}

Is this your first account, and if not, why not? Mdann52 (talk) 16:03, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because it has become apparent that it is being used only for vandalism. Furthermore, your username is a blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. wL<speak·check> 13:10, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I want to contribute well now, I am sorry for the pointy behaviour and the bad username. Please unblock me.UnsourcedBlanker222 (talk) 13:16, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This is obviously not your first account on Wikipedia. Max Semenik (talk) 13:56, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
