< Hi. I need help undoing a problem. I went to add a citation to a sentence I added to the biography of British actor James Villiers. I cannot see a way to add an automatic citation and tried to create one manually. In the process I somehow deleted all the references at the bottom of the page when I attempted to add one that I could link to. I restored the references but the Reference title is missing. If you could rollback that change I can learn a better way to add my citation.>

- I've converted your request to a standard help request as this issue does not require the use of the admin tools- any editor may assist you with it. 331dot (talk) 11:13, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- You removed the {{reflist}} template. I reinstated it.
- That being said, claims like "he was particularly known for this, that or the other" require a source. Kleuske (talk) 11:14, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, I see what you mean. I found the first reference, an obiturary, proved my point was able to serve as a citation. Thanks for your help. Valiant Ranger (talk) 11:20, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- I'm closing the request as it seems like you got your answer, but if I am mistaken, you are more than welcome to reopen a Help request. 331dot (talk) 13:11, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
