I do not consider my deleted post as promotional. I was merely detailing the history of a not for profit organization similar to English Australia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Australia.

Vanderwolf18, can you tell me what organisation you were trying to write about? Were you trying to create new article on Wikipedia? I am happy to offer advice on whether that organisation is likely to meet Wikipedia's notability rules. Kerry (talk) 09:17, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I was writing a new article about a not for profit organization that is similar to English Australia. English Australia has a Wiki page. I would like to link between the English Australia page and the new NEAS page.

Since I have never heard of NEAS, do you mean this organisation? First question, are you affiliated with this organisation in some way? If so, you need to be aware of Wikipedia's policy on conflict of interest and if you are being paid directly or indirectly by them, you need to be aware of the requirement to disclose this paid relationship. If either of these is the situation, I strongly suggest you do not attempt to create this article. If this is not the case, to create any article on Wikipedia, it must meet Wikipedia's notability rules and, as an organisation, the specific guidelines for organisations. To do this, there must be significant coverage from reliable sources independent of the organisation, which can be used as the basis for the article, not content from NEAS. I did a quick Google search and a Google news search and I did not see anything that might be described as "significant coverage". Indeed, apart from NEAS's own website, I only found this 2013 newspaper article. Do you have source material that would meet the notability requirements?
